Driving Directions 

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for CAFAF's 2024 Avenue of Dreams!

 

Volunteer Spots available: 

Hair Stylists, Barbers, and Make Up Artists:

  1. Provide your own tools and equipment to style youth.
  2. Sessions will be from 9am-1pm, lunch included. You are free to leave right after, 

Fairy Glam Mother Duties:

  1. Assist and interact with a group of girls.
  2. Keep track of all of your girls.
  3. Do a regular head count as necessary.
  4. Remind girls to be polite.
  5. Each girl will have a colored bracelet.Make sure that girls with the same color bracelet as you stick together and do not wander off.

Shining Knights Duties: 

  1. Assist and interact with a group of 10-15 boys.
  2. Assist with tuxedo and shoe selection and pants selection andmeasurements as needed.
  3. Assist with tying ties and teaching how to tie a tie.
  4. One shining knight will monitor the dressing room, while the otherswill assist in finding shoes, shirts, suits, ties, tuxedoes for the youngmen.

Dressing Room Attendants:

  1. Dressing Room Attendants (M/F).
  2. Remove dresses/tuxedoes/ties from dressing rooms.
  3. Keep dressing rooms clean, clear and tidy and organized. Ensure a smooth flow in and out of dressing rooms.
  4. Assist as needed with the youth and their dress or tux and tie selection.
  5. Make sure dresses are hung back on their correct racks and tuxes areput away properly.

Shoe Attendants

  1. If shoes of one size finish, restock with sizes and fill display
  2. Make sure shoes are neat, organized and presentable
  3. Make sure that shoes are not left lying around
  4. Help youth find shoes in their size

 

Professional Photographers:

  1. Photograph the youth
  2. Will be provided with either white board, chalk board or pen and paper.
