CORE 2023 - Dealing with Difficult People: Navigating Challenging Situations
This training event will award 2 contact hours for LMSW and LCSW with the NYSED State Board for Social Work and 2 contact hours for LMHC and LMFT with the NYSED State Board for Mental Health Practitioners and 2 CASAC renewal credits.
This workshop explores what makes an interaction difficult and the issues that might be fueling emotion-charged communication. Participants will have the ability to review the functions and dynamics of challenging behavior and analyze situations through use of case vignettes; development of positive plans of intervention involving therapeutic change processes; and how to employ techniques to reduce interference and maximize safety awareness in the workplace.

This training will be offered via ZOOM. Pre-registration is required and will be closed on 11/17/2023 (or when attendance capacity is reached). A Zoom link will be made available to you 48 hours prior to event date.
