Training Team
Ohio Domestic Violence Network

Please join us for this virtual, interactive training

Join ODVN and Founder of eleven24 Tonjie Reese, for this critical conversation about the intersections of racism and domestic violence. During this training, participants will delve into the complex dynamics of how domestic violence survivors of color navigate implicit biases shaped by historical trauma. Addressing cycles of violence, cultural misalignment in reporting, and the compounding effects of police brutality, mass violence, and discrimination, participants will gain insights to better understand and serve survivors. This training fosters a community of care by encouraging self-reflection on identities, emphasizing the unique needs of survivors, and promoting liberation from systemic barriers, empowering advocates to provide more inclusive and effective support. Eleven24 is a program dedicated to reimagining prevention through a lens of liberation and community, and Tonjie brings many years of experience in youth-serving and gender-based violence work.

This training is designed for advocates at all skill levels.
