Join us December 5th as author and journalist Jon Wilson unveils Days of Fear: A Lynching in St. Petersburg.
The book exposes the shocking story of the gruesome 1914 murder of photographer and developer Frank Sherman in St. Petersburg, and the calculated lynching of the Black man accused of the murder.
Wilson explores the true-crime events, and stories of the days of terror that followed -- all buried for decades in the Sunshine City.
Copies of Days of Fear: A Lynching of St. Petersburg, are available for purchase at the St. Petersburg Museum of History.
Presented by Southern Roots Realty, Happy Hour with the Historian is frequently sold out, so reservations are required. Admission without a reservation cannot be guaranteed. Reservations close the day of the event.
