Lutheran Day on the Hill
Monday, Febrary 19, 2024
Online Registration is now closed. You can still attend Lutheran Day on the Hill and register in person. Please visit LSIowa.org/LDH for more information. Contact Grace Johnson (Grace.Johnson@lsiowa.org) with any questions.
Join us for Lutheran Day on the Hill, a time to join our voices together to amplify the needs of people who have been marginalized by our society. This event is LSI's biggest advocacy day of the year. We begin our morning at a local ELCA church in Des Moines then travel to the Iowa State Capitol for an afternoon of direct advocacy.
If you plan to attend, we encourage you to contact your legislator in advance and set up a specific meeting time to better your chances of being able to speak with him or her. You can find your legislators and their contact information here.
This year, we are encouraging participants to carpool to Des Moines. If you need assistance finding a carpool/ride share option or would be willing to drive, please contact your synod office.
Online registration is open through Monday, February 12. Day-of registration will be available at Capitol Hill Lutheran on the day of the event. Register by February 1 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
