          This is an ONLINE event.           This training requires using interactive camera and audio (Zoom) technology.

                When:                   Attendance at ALL below sessions is required to earn the certificate (nine 3.5 hr sessions over three weeks)

Metropolitan Mediation Services is offering a 35-hour mediator training, March 4, - March 20, 2024 (dates/times on the left panel).  MMS Mediator Trainings teach skills that can enrich your interactions professionally, in your community, and at home.  Some trainees go on to join MMS' panel of volunteer mediators, an exciting way to serve our communities.

These programs are attended by attorneys; social workers; educators; public officials and administrators; those involved in health care; police officers; realtors; business people; consultants; retired people; community organizers; and volunteers; among others. MMS has been providing these trainings for over 30 years. MMS' trainings are extremely well received.

rofessional CEU credits: Social Worker CEU, Licensed Mental Health Counselor CEU, and Educator PDP credits are available. These trainings satisfy the training components  of qualification standards under the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Uniform Rules on Dispute Resolution and of MGL Ch. 233 s.23c.

Tuition and Discounts: Full tuition is $760. Additional "bring-a friend" or group discounts are available (see http://metromediation.org).  Linguistic, racial, or ethnically diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.  Some scholarships are available. 
 
Each trainee receives: 
 
  • Binder of training materials, articles, and handouts
  • Copy of The Mediator’s Handbook (List price: $34.95)
  • Opportunity to earn continuing education credits (CEU, PDP, MMCEP)
  • Certificate of completion (must attend all sessions
