Adulting 101: Finding Structure in the Chaos

This training event will award 2 contact hours for LMSW and LCSW with the NYSED State Board for Social Work and 2 contact hours for LMHC and LMFT with the NYSED State Board for Mental Health Practitioners and 2 CASAC renewal credits.

This workshop will offer insight to therapists on how to enable clients to meet their basic biopsychosocial needs independently in order to engage in positive behavior and strengthen mind-body connectedness. Today’s modern life structure is in constant fluctuation. As our social climate digresses it is not a far leap to assume that people’s psychological capacity will digress as well.

Objectives:

1: Enable prosocial and active behaviors in client populations through a strengths based lens

2: Identify the modern difficulties impeding life skills today

3: Explore applicable clinical interventions
