2024 Fiscal Symposium

The Center for Tax and Budget Accountability (“CTBA”) is pleased to announce its fiscal symposium and welcomes Speaker Chris Welch as the keynote presenter.  The theme for this year’s event is How the State Budget can be Used to Address Historical Inequities and Structural Racism.” Please join us for a robust discussion focused on how state-level policies can be reformed in order to counter historic inequities, create social and economic justice, and provide the fiscal capacity needed to get the job done. 

The keynote address will be followed by a panel of distinguished Illinois legislators for what promises to be a thought-provoking discussion.
