This workshop is designed specifically for current or future restaurant owners, chefs, and managers aiming to optimize their kitchen and dining room workflow. In the fast-paced world of restauranting, the efficiency of your space is not just about aesthetics, it's about functionality, customer satisfaction, and your bottom line.

This workshop will guide you through innovative strategies to create a seamless flow between your kitchen and dining area, maximizing both space and operational efficiency.

We will cover efficient kitchen layouts, dining room dynamics and customer flow management.

You will leave this workshop equipped with insights to revamp your restaurant’s kitchen and dining layout, streamline operations, and create a more cohesive and efficient environment for staff and customers.


Presenter Heather Turner is a Granite Region Certified SCORE mentor. She spent twenty years cooking professionally and in 2003 started her own business (with the assistance of a SCORE mentor). She currently teaches social media and marketing for small businesses and mentors and co-mentors in the chapter for marketing and social media for startup businesses and for existing businesses who need some help and guidance in the digital age. She also specializes in working with the hospitality industry for operations, both starting a food business as well as in business.
