Camouflaged Propaganda


We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Jeanne Fox (ABDA, Inc.) will be our speaker on 29 February, 2024 (Thursday), 11:30 – 1:30 PM, 2800 Presidential Drive, Holiday Inn, Fairborn, Ohio. Jeanne will discuss “Camouflaged Propaganda.” Chatham House rule will apply.

Abstract: A top-level review of American domestic propaganda through the eras for conflict from the Revolutionary War to post-9/11.  Learn about white, black, and gray propaganda through the centuries. Then, let’s have a discussion about American domestic propaganda today.

Dr. Jeanne (Jean) Fox is a Senior Associate at Aerospace Business Development Associates (ABDA), Inc. After 34 years of combined civil service in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, Jeanne retired as the Deputy Director of Strategic Plans, Programs, Requirements and Assessments, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command (HQ AFMC/A5/8/9) Dayton, Ohio.  She is an accomplished practitioner in the disciplines of strategic planning, capability planning, and business development relevant to her DoD career experiences. Jeanne is a welcomed addition to Team ABDA!

Jeanne holds the highest professional certifications conferred on federal civil servants coupled with practical knowledge in requirements management, program management, and financial compliance.  Her hands-on expertise includes AFMC command-wide strategic planning, programming, enterprise analyses, wargaming, and operational requirements. She oversaw AFMC’s Program Objective Memorandum (POM) / Budget Estimate Submission (BES) to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to include Agile Combat Support requirements and Weapons Systems Sustainment components valued more than $40 billion.  Rounding out her military and civil service experience Jeanne has been a lead program manager in charge of cost, schedule, and performance of the unmanned MQ-1 air vehicle and MQ-1/MQ-9 common systems, rotary wing production, the modeling and simulation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in the National Airspace System (NAS), and Naval common avionics.

Please note that participation in DPAAS is limited to representatives of the United States Government and U.S. Defense Contractors. All representatives must be Citizens of the United States only.

DPAAS technical presentations may count toward Acquisition Continuous Learning (CL) Points – please check with your supervisor!
