March 2024 Nonprofit Coffee Talk:

Ideas and Resources for Reducing Waste in Our Nonprofit Organizations

Please join us for a Nonprofit Coffee Talk on Thursday, March 7th, 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, 936 Sudbury Street in Staunton.

Enjoy coffee and light breakfast treats while learning more about how to incorporate sustainability into your nonprofit's daily operations and event planning. Be sure to bring your own reusable water bottle or thermos.  Coffee cups will be available on site, compliments of the Go Green Bank, which is located on site at the Allen Chapel.

The Coffee Talk discussion will be facilitated by Georgi Tomisato, Founding President of Shenandoah Green/ Co-Chair Earth Day Staunton, and Jennifer Kirkland, who retired as General Counsel at Washington and Lee University and has been an active volunteer for many organizations. She currently serves as a composting volunteer for Shenandoah Green. Enjoy the opportunity to network and catch up on the latest news from your friends in the nonprofit community.

Registration is free of charge and will be limited to a small group in order to provide an ideal setting for connecting with your nonprofit colleagues.
