Online Workshop: SBA Small Disadvantaged Business & DSBS & SAM.gov

Each year, the Federal Government awards about 10% of all federal contract dollars, or roughly $50 billion in contracts, to Small Disadvantaged Businesses. SBA’s Office of Government Contracting and Business Development monitors the progress of 24 Executive Branch agencies in contracting with Small Disadvantaged Businesses.

This workshop is to give you more information about the program, about DSBS (Dynamic Small Business Search) and about the SAM.gov website.

Presenter Theresa M. Pinto is a 30+ year chamber of commerce professional, working primarily in communities throughout the East Coast. Most recently, Theresa transitioned into federal government service working for the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Business Development Specialist, after work for the State of New Hampshire Division of Economic Development as a Business Resource Specialist with Business and Economic Affairs.
