New York Peace Pledge Tour

Kids for Peace has been invited to present our Peace Pledge to the United Nations in honor of the International Day of Peace. Please join kids from all of the world as we blanket New York with love and kindness. We will see all the epic sites in a new and meaningful way. We will make new friends, learn new peace building skills, and have FUN. The Big Apple will never be the same!

Proposed Itinerary (This is magic in action!)

 Saturday, September 14th

  • Evening at hotel:Team Building and Tour Prep (Peace Packs, Happy Signs for parade, etc.)

Sunday, September 15th

  • Morning & Afternoon-Peace Pledge Rally and Happy Parade at Central Park
  • Afternoon-Feast of San Gennaro presentation (?)
  • Evening- Leadership Training & Fun

Monday, September 16th

  • Statue of Liberty
  • 911 Memorial
  • Museum(s)
  • Times Square
  • UNICEF
  • Evening-Talent Show at hotel: "Kids for Peace's Got Talent" (young and old)

Tuesday, September 17th

  • Morning-Harlem School Joint Service Project and Presentation
  • Covenant House Shelter Service Project and/or Peace Pack
  • Night-Radio City Music Hall: America’s Got Talent (?)

Wednesday, September 18th

  • Morning-UN Peace Pledge Presentation (The teens will present the Peace Pledge and the younger kids will be greeters. We are working on a UN tour for younger kids.)
  •  Afternoon: Fly Home
