TRIPTAC is Closing...So What Now?

The Paul S. Sarbanes Transit in Parks Technical Assistance Center (TRIPTAC) will be hosting a FREE online training event for Federal Land Management Agencies on the TRIPTAC closure and where to access TRIPTAC products and services.

Course Description: For the past 5 years, the TRIPTAC has provided to Federal Land Managers free technical assistance and resources related to Alternative Transportation Systems (ATS). With the closing of TRIPTAC on June 30, 2014, we have tried to ensure that all of the trainings and resources we’ve created in the past 5 years will still be available to Federal Land Managers.

The main objective of this training is to show our clients how to access our products and services after the closing. The key points of the training are to (1) show FLMAs where the TRIPTAC resources will be relocated to, (2) provide a walkthrough of our new website and (3) where to get technical assistance and training post-TRIPTAC.

Presenter:

Jaime Eidswick is a member of the TRIPTAC management team, providing strategic guidance on technical assistance resources and services. She oversees the TRIPTAC’s website, the central repository of resources, and the research priorities of the TRIPTAC. She is also responsible for providing technical assistance, peer reviewing documents created by team members, and assisting in TRIPTAC marketing.

Jaime has over 10 years of experience developing transportation solutions for federal lands and national parks. She crafted a model national park Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) plan for the California National Park system and developed a traveler information system for Grand Canyon National Park. She has worked on numerous ITS plans, architectures, and deployments in Montana, including projects in Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. She has a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is also a registered engineer in the state of Montana.

This training will be held in a webinar format, so that you can participate from any computer with an internet connection. Instructions on accessing the webinar will be sent after your registration is confirmed.
