Our Mission:
To enrich lives through art and craftsmanship by sharing the skills and knowledge of past generations with materials and techniques of today.
Whether you want to learn a new skill, have a relaxing weekend or meet new people, the classes at the folk art school are just for you! We are known for our great instructors, and wonderful food.
Our Sixth Dulcimer Winter Weekend features the playing and teaching skills of Mike Anderson, Lee Cagle and David Haas. Not only are they seasoned instructors, they are also terrific performers, as you will learn at the Saturday night dulcimer concert.
Also participating in our weekend is Steve Endsley, a nationally known dulcimer builder and player. Steve is a loyal and dedicated member of the Heirloom Folk Art School Board.
Be sure to sign up early in order not to miss out! Class sizes are limited so that you can get personal attention and guidance.
Try something new or learn new ways to enhance a skill you already have - or just show up for the concert.
See you at the Illinois Mountain Dulcimer Winter Weekend!
