Dreaming of working in Germany? Come join us as we host two information sessions about the how-to's of applying for a job in Germany.
First impressions, like here in the United States, play a decisive role in an application. If an employment application is not carefully done and is full of errors, it will be discarded by the head of personnel. To avoid that happening, learn what needs your particular attention.
We are offering three training dates.
Session I: Wednesday, November 4, 2015, 6:00 - 8:30pm
Admission: $75.00 for Goethe Members, $90.00 for non-members
During this session, there will be a general overview of the following topics:
Session II: Wednesday, November 18, 2015, 6:00 - 8:30pm
Admission: $75.00 for Goethe Members, $90.00 for non-members
During this session, we will focus on the résumé or Lebenslauf, looking at the layout, what details need to be included and how to make yours stand out from the crowd.
Session III: Wednesday, December 9, 2015, 6:00 - 8:30pm
Admission: $75.00 for Goethe Members, $90.00 for non-members
During this session, we will focus on the application letter required when you apply for a job and look into the interview process, focusing on how to conduct yourself and what questions to ask.
This workshop will be facilitated by Mrs. Martina Kraus, holder of a graduate degree in business management. She has successfully worked as a personal instructor in the area of how to conduct a job search. She will offer pointers for your own job and assist in its planning.
Participants can choose to sign up for one, two or all three of the courses. Registration can be completed by clicking the Register Now button below.
