JASA: 10/19/16 Kykuit Garden Tour and Tea Ceremony
The vibrant autumn colors of the maples will be at peak in mid-October. Please join us for JASA's tour and tea ceremony at the tea house designed by Yoshimura Junzo. Urasenke Tea Master Yoshihiro Terazono will join us once again to demonstrate the details of this ancient tradition. JASA Member Tomoko Urabe and
Greg Succop will participate as tea ceremony assistants.
To be followed by a bento lunch (included in the tour fee.) Please note that the paths are irregular stepping stones; the tea house and garden are not handicapped accessible. If it rains, we will postpone to another date.
Reservations are required; space is limited to 15.
Tour Fee: $40 per person
Registration is first come first served, priority will be given to those who have not participated in JASA's trips to Kykuit in the past.
