Case Western Reserve art historian andcollateral descendant of Henry Adams will speak about John La Farge (1835-1910) and Japan. LaFarge made a career-emboldening trip to Japan in 1886, although he had been collecting ukiyo-e since an earlier trip to Paris.

The Holiday Party will take place following the lecture.
