SATP Bus Transportation for Hearing/Lunch
Those interested may travel by Lion and Rose bus to the Texas Capitol, Austin, to observe the Convention of States Hearing, September 13, at 11:00 a.m.
Bus will depart the Lion and Rose Restaurant at the Forum, 8211 Agora Pkwy, # 112, Live Oak, TX, 78154, at 8:30 a.m. and will be ready to depart the Capitol at the conclusion of the hearing and lunch (should not be later than 3 p.m.).

Have you heard the GREAT NEWS?!! Convention of States Texas will have a Hearing at the Capitol, in Austin, on Tuesday, September 13th, at 11:00 a.m.
And, EVERYONE'S INVITED!! Join with your fellow Texas COS Patriots promoting Liberty, Federalism, and the Constitution at your Capitol.
In regards to the Committee Hearing, the Texas House Select Committee on State & Federal Power & Responsibility will hold a hearing, on September 13th, at the Capitol, where they will entertain Article V (Convention of States) testimony from invited witnesses:

And, since we'll be at the Capitol anyway, we're going to engage with our legislators and/or their staff in Austin!
Here is a very flexible, and optional, agenda for our Day at the Capitol on September 13, 2016:
8:00 - Meet for breakfast at the Capitol Grille (they have good, inexpensive, breakfast)
8:45 - Meet in the Rotunda, pair up (find an experienced buddy), if necessary, get materials
9:00 - Begin canvassing the Capitol; or, attend scheduled meeting(s) in legislator’s offices
10:30 - Convene in the Committee Hearing room
11:00 - Committee Hearing - Room E2.010
1:00 - Lunch at the Capitol Grille
1:45 - Meet in the Rotunda, pair up (find an experienced buddy), if necessary, get materials
2:00 - More canvassing the Capitol; or, attend scheduled meeting(s) in legislator’s offices
We're hoping you can make arrangements to join with fellow leaders, volunteers, and supporters, at the Capitol for any part of the day. Members of the Texas State Leadership team plan on being available throughout the day as well. Our goal is to help you get acquainted with our Capitol before January.
