LWVF 2017 Legislative Summit

Join us at the State Capitol for our 2017 Legislate Summit. Together, we will advocate the League's five legislative priorities ranked by local league members and then finalized by our LWVF Board. From lobbying training, legislators discuss their priorities, press conference on the Capitol steps, being recognized from the House and Senate chambers, and concluding with a Gala in the Historic Capitol Senate Chambers.  We need your voice in Tallahassee on March 28-29, 2017.  CLICK BELOW TO REGISTER NOW!

Note: Due to the litany of expenses related to organizing this event, the League cannot offer any refunds for registration, for any reasons.
All payments are final.

Special events like our annual Legislative Summit can only take place thanks to the generosity of our individual and corporate sponsors. Whether you're a long time League member, a new member, or a business or association, a Summit Sponsorship is the perfect way to support for the League's
grassroots advocacy.

We have several sponsorship levels that help to defray expenses from the Summit. In order to keep our registration rate the same as the last three years, we must have sponsorships.

Sponsorship levels:

Host Committee: This $100 sponsorship is a simple way to express your support for the Gala at the Historic Capitol Senate Chambers. All Host Committee Sponsors' names will appear in our Gala Program as well as on this event page and will receive one complimentary ticket to the Gala Reception.

Silver Sponsorship: This $250 sponsorship is a strong show of support of our annual Legislative Summit and Gala. In addition to having your name, or organization's name, in our Gala Program and this event page, our Silver Sponsors will also receive two complimentary tickets to our Gala Reception.

Red, White, and Blue Gala Sponsorship: This $500 sponsorship is one of our most popular sponsorship options and a strong show of support of our annual Legislative Summit and Gala. In addition to having your name, or organization's name, in our Gala Program and this event page, our RWB Sponsors will also receive four complimentary tickets to our Gala Reception.

Platinum Sponsorship: This $1,000 sponsorship is the most robust expression of support available from our Sponsorship options. All Platinum sponsors' names, or organization's name and logo, will be featured in our Gala Program and event page, and will be publicly recognized during the Gala. Additionally, all Platinum sponsors will receive eight complimentary tickets to the Gala Reception.

This sponsorship level also qualifies you as a member of the prestigious Harry T. Burn Society. This society honors top donors and is named after the youngest member of the 1920 state legislature in Tennessee, Harry T. Burn. Representative Burn ensured the ratification of the 19th Amendment, “Women’s Right To Vote” with an unanticipated “aye” vote, breaking the tie in the Tennessee House of Representative on the issue of women’s suffrage.

Thirty-five other states approved the amendment for ratification into the US Constitution and only one more state was needed to approve the amendment to make a “Perfect 36.”
