Keystone Species - Session 1: It's What You Can't See ~ Keystoneness, Plankton, and the Bay

What makes an animal living in the Chesapeake Bay or James River a keystone species? Are certain species becoming more important and others less? We will discuss plankton, oysters, menhaden and human impacts on these important species. Join the NOAA Environmental Training Center, VCU, VA DEQ at the Rice Center to answer these questions and more.
