Evidence-based Assessment of Trauma & PTSD

This seminar will discuss the diagnostic criteria for PTSD and other considerations in the formulation of a diagnosis with special focus on current, valid and reliable assessment tools (specifically, the PDS-5 and PSSI-5). Emotional processing theory and prolonged exposure therapy for the treatment of PTSD will also be presented.
