Can Fictional & Information Writing Live Happily Ever After? Writing With Our Youngest Authors (K-2)

Young students can learn to write with purpose. This session will focus on writing in K-2 classrooms through the use of investigation journals, problem solving notebooks, poetry, and writing journals. The presenter will show how a balance of carefully selected fictional and informational texts can serve as models for students to use.
