Leibniz Lecture by Prof. Rainer Forst "Toleration and Democracy"

Prof. Rainer Forst was awarded the Gottfied Willhelm Leibniz Prize, the highest honor in German Research in 2012. His lecture "Toleration and Democracy" will focus on the ambivalence of the concept. While some believe toleration and democracy to be twin virtues, other see them in conflict, toleration belonging to an absolutist era.
