Humans are visual creatures, and so the ability to reproduce accurate images of the world around us is an important challenge. Dr. Pradeep Sen, UCSB, will discuss new techniques for photorealistic image synthesis, and methods for achieving high-dynamic- range (HDR) imaging without "ghosting" in scenes with motion.
