Introducing the 2010 Standards
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has been in place since 1991 and the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) have not substantially been changed in 20 years. On March 15, 2012, the 2010 Standards for compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) will become mandatory.
