2013 Day of the Girl Pittsburgh Celebration

International Day of the Girl was declared by the United Nations in 2011 to recognize girls’ rights, and the unique challenges they face around the world. In a short time it has become a movement to celebrate the power of girls and to elevate the conversation around their strengths, identify challenges and opportunities, and squash stereotypes.
