The Role of Psychoeducation in Treatment and Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse

Psychoeducation is one of the key components of Trauma Focused cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). This workshop will provide an overview of the components of TF-CBT and a thorough discussion of the role of psychoeducation. Psychoeducation can both help children to process abusive experiences and reduce the risk of future abuse.
