Domestic Violence: Cultural Issues and Domestic Violence September 15, 2017

This workshop will begin by defining culture and explaining how it shapes our experiences and interactions. We will discuss how we understand our own cultural identities, and introduce the concept of cultural humility. Then we will look at domestic violence (DV) among immigrants, barriers immigrants face, and remedies available for DV victims.
