Domestic Violence: The Impact of Childhood Trauma on Adults, October 10, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
This workshop will cover the relationship between domestic violence and trauma; various types of trauma characteristics; PTSD and other effects on children and adolescents; teen dating violence and its relationship to later victimization; long-term effects of DV in childhood; working with children who have experienced DV, and safety planning.
