At the age of 17, Amal Elsana-Alhjooj established Israel’s first Bedouin women’s NGO, AJEEC (The Arab-Jewish Center for Equality, Empowerment and Cooperation). AJEEC addresses every unmet need for these women and their communities. NIFC is proud to feature Nobel Peace Prize laureate nominee Elsana-Alhjooj and the directors of AJEEC-NISPED.
