School Discipline & Students w/Disabilities: Understanding the Process, Procedure, & Student Rights

In order to ensure students w/disabilities are not unfairly disciplined for acts that may be a result of their disability, special education laws offer students additional protections before suspensions & other punishment can be imposed. We will discuss what to do if your child is facing disciplinary actions as well as strategies for prevention.
