Understanding Specific Learning Disabilities

In order to be successful, students with Learning Disabilities (LD) need to learn to be strategic learners/thinkers. Participants will develop an understanding of LD and characteristics that are often present in students with LD. We will explore strategies for supporting students and the need for academic accommodations and modifications.
