Understanding Sensory Processing in Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders

Participants will gain an understanding of sensory integration, sensory systems, and sensory dysfunction and how it impacts learning and life. We will explore what a traditional Occupational Therapy Evaluation consists of, examples of school based Occupational Therapy services, sensory diets and activity suggestions for home and school.
