Understanding and Integrating the Needs of the LGBTQ community in Substance Abuse Treatment Settings

This training is an introduction for treatment providers about how to better support the LGBTQ community by creating a safe space to receive treatment for substance use issues. Additionally, it will increase the understanding of LGBTQ-specific risk factors for addiction and discuss the prevalence of substance use in the LGBTQ community.
