Foraging for Local Wild Food: Part I

In this workshop, local forager and plant-enthusiast, Shane Jordan, will walk us through the basics of foraging and identify commonly-foraged trees and plants. Focus will be on humans relationship to nature, why foraging is valuable, a history of foraging through an anti-capitalist perspective, and foraging as it relates to race & class.
