DISPUTED COURT: THE WTO DISPUTE SETTLEMENT SYSTEM

By blocking appointments to the Appellate Body of the WTO, the United States has signalled its concern that the Appellate Body is imposing obligations on members beyond those embodied in WTO agreements. This event will be an opportunity to review those issues.
