Establishing Wildlife Crime Units to boost the fight against poaching and IWT in the Congo Basin

The presentation will provide an overview of the scope of wildlife crime in the Congo Basin illustrated by the Forest Elephant crisis (62% decline across the Congo Basin between 2002 and 2011, with losses of up to 90% in some landscapes between 2011 and 2015).
