Prop 21 is the rent control overhaul that allows local jurisdictions to put rent control in place for all kinds of housing, including single family homes, condos and townhomes. This proposition would replace the Costa-Hawkins Rental Housing Act of 1995. CAR's position is NO on Prop 21 and our speaker will be presenting information supporting CAR.
