Trauma and Addiction: A New Paradigm for Assessment and Treatment
Understanding addiction as implicit memory, the model presented focuses on treatment based on cause. This new lens will focus on the prevalence of trauma and how this relates to addiction. The implicit memory system and its relationship to trauma, attachment, and addiction will be discussed.
