David Oates - Haiku and Senryu Writing Workshop
David Oates, author, teacher and performer from Athens, GA, leads a Haiku and Senryu Workshop for the Lighthouse Literary Guild. Senryu is similar to haiku in structure, but is usually focused less on nature and more on human nature, often sarcastically humorous and darkly comical. Participants are also invited to an Open Mic Night 9/20 at 6 pm.
