The First Chapter: A Retreat for Prose Writers

The Lighthouse Literary Guild at SU's Center for Extended & Lifelong Learning is hosting a one-day writing retreat. Using a mix of discussions and writing exercises, writers will generate ideas to begin a novel or memoir. The course will cover writing as a practice, developing characters, and producing a first chapter. Lunch included!
