Brown Bag: Dr. Phillip Troutman, "The Radical Visual Rhetoric of Early Abolition"

In this Brown Bag lunch talk, Dr. Phillip Troutman will discuss his current research at the Clements Library as recipient of the Reese Fellowship in the Print Culture of the Americas. He is working on a book about the American Anti-Slavery Society's visual program of periodicals, pamphlets, prints, and books in the 1830s, their formative decade.
