Core Advocacy Skills

Advocates are often drawn to the anti-violence movement in order to help others and be a force for change in their communities—but being an advocate for victims of domestic violence is challenging work. This workshop will explore the concepts of empowerment and trauma-informed services, while building skills in communication and problem solving.
