IACS ComputeFest Workshop: Scientific Programming in Python (presented by Continuum Analytics)

This workshop will introduce NumPy (provides high performance numerical data structures and associated routines for multi-dimensional vectors), then build on this by exploring matplotlib (for Matlab-like plotting), scipy (a collection of common numerical methods implemented in C w/Python interfaces), and multiprocessing.
