Proactive Identification of Underrepresented Students for Gifted and Talented Programs

The identification of gifted and talented students and the common underrepresentation of students form certain racial, ethnic and income groups are two of the hottest topics in the field. This session will present an overview of the state of underrepresentation nationally and in Wisconsin, and will share various identification methods.
