Raptors of the Yakima Valley
South-central Washington is rich in birds of prey, with 18 species occurring regularly and several more as rare visitors. An astonishing 15 species of owls are also present in Washington. The Yakima Area Arboretum and Yakima Valley Audubon will present a two-part class on these interesting birds.
