Sensory Awareness:Body-based Mindfulness Practices

Learn specific mindfulness practices for youth to increase body awareness: using the five senses, internal sensations of the body and progressive relaxation. We will explore how sensations can both trigger the stress response and be a portal for practice. Experiential activities will reinforce personal practice as a means for authentic teaching.
