A House Tour to Inspire: Richard Neutra’s VDL House in Silver Lake, a National Historic Landmark Explore modernist architect Richard Neutra’s VDL Studio and Residences, a site comprised of the original 1940 garden house and the main house reconstructed by Neutra and his son and partner, Dion Neutra, after a fire in 1963 destroyed the original.
