Documentation is a tedious but very essential task. This course provides an overview of the legal aspects of documentation, including HIPAA & 42CFR Part 2 compliance. Discussion will focus on assessments, treatment plans & progress notes as well as brevity and using client-centered language. After all, “If it isn’t written, it didn’t happen”.
